The thing I wish I'd had 30 years ago

DJOS OFFICIAL LAUNCH

I've been DJing 37 years. I've been running a social media agency for the last 5 and a half years.

For most of those 37 years I did what nearly every DJ does. Played some great gigs then just hoped the phone would ring. I had no system in place whatsoever.

The agency years changed how I saw everything. I started auditing DJ brands properly, and the same thing came up every time. It was never the music. The mixes were good. The sets were good. What was missing was everything that happens away from the decks, what I call the business side and branding side of DJing.

So I built the system I wish I'd had, and this week it's ready. It's called DJOS and this is what’s inside.

Your week has no shape

Most DJs start Monday from scratch. What am I posting, who do I chase, when do I get the admin done. That decision gets made fresh every week, which is why it so often doesn't get made at all.

What it means for you: DJOS gives your week a repeatable shape. You set once which day is content, which is outreach, which is admin. Then you stop rebuilding it.

Your content gets decided on the day

Posting when you remember is why your reach is uneven. The algorithm rewards consistency, and consistency needs a plan.

What it means for you: There's a five-day posting grid inside, one theme per day, so you always know what goes out. And a hook scoring step before you make anything, so when you do post you have a strong hook to capture peoples attention.

Your bookings live in your phone

Somewhere between WhatsApp, Instagram DMs and email. Which is fine until a promoter asks when you last played for them, or a lead goes quiet and you never notice. This helps you get organised.

What it means for you: One tracker takes a booking from first contact to gig night to follow-up.

You quote off the top of your head

Someone asks your price at eleven on a Friday night and you pick a number. Sometimes too low. Sometimes you lose the job because you hesitated. This solves that problem.

What it means for you: Your rates live in one place, ready. One line if you play clubs, two or three tiers if you do weddings and corporate. There's also the method for finding your ceiling, which is to add a bit each time until someone finally says it's too much.

The gig ends and nothing happens

You play a great set, you go home, and you never ask for the next date, never send the invoice, never request the testimonial while they're still buzzing.

What it means for you: Every booking has a post-gig section. What worked, what didn't, next date asked for, invoice sent, testimonial requested (corporate or wedding gigs).

What you actually get

DJOS is one workspace you open every morning and run your career from.

Inside it:

  • Your morning page. Today's tasks, your next gigs, what content is due, in one view.
  • Three working sections. Planning, content, gigs.
  • Amplify Your Brand (My second book), in full. All 21 chapters, readable inside DJOS or downloadable.
  • The AI DJ Playbook (My latest book), in full. All 23 chapters.
  • My six-module DJ course on YouTube. Starting out, going professional, social media, goal setting, mental health, and the wrap-up.
  • The frameworks. The SET Formula and the my new viral 5S Framework, the same ones I use with retainer clients.
  • The 2026 platform studies. What's actually working on Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn this year.

It runs on Notion, which is free. If you've never opened Notion in your life there's a plain-English guide inside written for exactly that. No tech skills needed.

The gap

You've got the talent. What you haven't got is the system around it.

Talent alone doesn't get DJs booked. Distribution and brand strategy do.

DJOS is €47, one payment, yours to keep.

Because you're on this list, use code DJOS37 to get €10 off that makes it €37. This offer is only available until midnight Sunday.

NEW YOUTUBE VIDEO

This is the system I built to work out why some posts go viral and most DJs never get seen. You show up, you post, you put the effort in, and the bookings still don't come. You get the odd spike, then it stalls. I've spent over a decade growing brands online and reaching millions of people, and I found that getting discovered follows a structure you can learn. In this video I break down the 5S Framework, the five signals that show up in content that actually gets found: Surfable, Story, Hook, Shareability and Saveability. I explain what each one does and why your posts stall when one of them is missing. Then I show you DiscoveryOS, the tool I built so you can score your own content against all five before you hit post. Drop in an idea or a draft, and the Discovery Engine tells you what's holding it back and how to fix it.

✉️ Welcome to the BPM Newsletter Business, Performance, Marketing insights for DJs and creative entrepreneurs THIS WEEKS INTEL Morning. Every DJ I know is all in on Reels on Instagram. That's how strangers find you, so it makes sense. But Metricool which is the social media scheduling tool I use in my business, looked at 24 million Instagram posts this year and carousels came out ahead of Reels on nearly every engagement metric. Carousels are also the format not everyone bothers with. PAUL'S...

✉️ Welcome to the BPM Newsletter Business, Performance, Marketing insights for DJs and creative entrepreneurs THIS WEEKS INTEL I've been watching the same thing happen for years. There's a DJ with real skill. Great record knowledge, years in the game, can genuinely play. And they're stood in a half-empty room. Then there's someone down the road, nowhere near the same level, selling the place out. Most people look at that and call it unfair. I don't. Because when you actually look at it, it...

✉️ Welcome to the BPM Newsletter Business, Performance, Marketing insights for DJs and creative entrepreneurs THIS WEEKS INTEL Last month one of my posts did 735,700 views on TikTok. The post before it did 919. Same account. Same me. Same 30 days. Most people would call that luck. But it isn't. In one month I had two posts go viral on two different platforms. A reel on Instagram at 75,610 views. A post on TikTok at 735,700. Different accounts, different platforms, different topics. So I did...
