THIS WEEKS INTEL

Most DJs run their career from memory. The gigs, the rates, the content plan, the follow-ups, all of it held in your head, or the back of a fag packet. Then you miss a booking or forget what you quoted someone last time.

I’ve create a tool to help with all this it’s called DJOS and it just got 4 major updates.

It's off Notion and on its own site now. Your own login, and it syncs automatically to your phone and your computer. Open it anywhere and your setup is already there. Nothing to import, nothing to export, nothing to keep in sync yourself.

A focus page now sits at the front. Open the app and it shows you what matters today before anything else. You stop losing the first ten minutes of your day working out what needs doing. The app has already sorted that.

A travel and logistics checklist is in. It sits next to the booking, so gig-day logistics live in the same place as the gig itself. Great way to stay on top go gig logistics, have you booked a hotel, booked a flight, booked hire car etc, One less way to turn up underprepared.

Post-gig reflection is built in. You log what worked and what didn't right after you play, while it's fresh. That knowledge usually vanishes by the next gig. Now it sits alongside your bookings and your content plan, so you actually use it next time you quote or plan a set.

ONE LAST THING...

DJOS is the system I built to run my own DJ career without keeping half of it in my head. Tasks, a Content Pipeline, and Bookings with your rates already built in. Now there's a Focus page, a travel checklist and post-gig reflection sitting on top.

The whole library comes with 2 of my books: the AI DJ Playbook and Amplify Your Brand, plus my 29-video YouTube DJ course, the SET Formula guide, the 5S Framework and the Metricool platform studies, to help you stay up to date on the leading social media platforms

One payment. No subscription. €47, and the whole thing is built and ready the day you buy.

✉️ Welcome to the BPM Newsletter Business, Performance, Marketing insights for DJs and creative entrepreneurs THIS WEEKS INTEL Instagram just published what it wants from a caption. Most DJ accounts are ignoring all of it. Most DJs write the caption last. You upload the set, tag the venue, add a quick line on top, and share. Instagram has just published its own guidance on captions, and it treats them as central to how a post performs. In its words, the caption tells the search system what...

✉️ Welcome to the BPM Newsletter Business, Performance, Marketing insights for DJs and creative entrepreneurs THIS WEEKS INTEL For a lot of DJs, summer ending feels like the season winding down. The gigs thin out, the festival posts stop, and everyone goes a bit quiet. The booking calendar however says the opposite. The back half of the year is one of the busiest stretches there is, and a big chunk of it lands midweek, which frees up your weekends for other club gigs. Corporate party season...

✉️ Welcome to the BPM Newsletter Business, Performance, Marketing insights for DJs and creative entrepreneurs THIS WEEKS INTEL Open Instagram right now and ask why you are really on it. The honest answer is entertainment. The feed hands you whatever holds your attention, and catching up with mates barely comes into it. That is a different app to the one we all learned to post on. Five years ago the deal was simple. Post a flyer with a few hashtags and your followers saw it. That deal is gone....
